Hungarian Hand Woven and Crocheted Lace Large Folk Art Tablecloth with Runner

Amazing antique Folk Art, hand woven linen tablecloth with hand crocheted cotton lace and with a matching central runner. Work of Art weaving of coloured bands and abstract patterns in a natural hand woven thick cotton linen. Folk Art motifs of grapes and stylized flowers. Looks like it could be Navajo Indian but most likely to be Serbian, Hungarian and from where it was bought, in the east of Hungary. Three panels joined with 2 inch cotton lace. The edged cotton lace is 5.5 inches long and the stitch is called the Cockrel crest, as it resembles the crest on a rooster of Cockrel bird. This Table cloth has a separate runner which fits perfectly on the central panel of the cloth when in use to save it getting dirty. The runner panel has an abstract red flower in its centre with bands of the coloured ribbon weaving. It a large size, suitable for a Dining table or long kitchen table and looks so beautiful, especially in a Rustic or Minimalist light interior. It is in near perfect condition. It has been used but I can see no flaws. Weight it nearly 1.5 kilos. Size. Length 84 inches (Over 2 metres) x Width 64 inches (Over 1.5 metres)
